About Diamond Dance

Fun & Fitness through the power of Dance

Diamond Dance was founded in 2003 by Evelyn Watt. The company was passed on to one of Evelyn’s dancers Paula Leonard who then passed it onto Evelyn’s daughter Elizabeth Watt.

Lizi is now the owner and dance coach of  Diamond. She trained in London with IDTA dance association and learnt a lot working alongside Paula and dancing with her mother Evelyn. Lizi is always keen to learn more & pass it on to both her dancers & coaches.

Diamond Dance Studio is all about fun and fitness through the power of dance.

We teach a variety of different styles of dance including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop and commercial from P3-upper 6th in school.

Our company focuses on the dancers improving dance skills and confidence while having fun with their friends in a non-competitive environment. While technique is important our focus is more on having fun and keeping fit. We provide a positive relaxed environment that allow dancers to be creative and explore different dance styles in a safe environment.

Dancers have the option of attending a competition in the Spring but it is up to each individual dancer to make a decision to audition which is at an additional cost.

We have an end of year show with all of our dancers to showcase the dancers’ routines from throughout the year. This is a much anticipated event on our calendar for dancers and families. We have a small but fantastic team of coaches & we look forward to welcoming you at Diamond Dance.
